Dear friends and supporters of the Spences Bridge Desert Daze Music Festival;
We – the Organizing Committee of the Desert Daze Festival – are keenly aware of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic crisis and it’s unprecedented impact on our society as a whole and specifically to the steady and ongoing announcements of the cancellation of hundreds of public sporting and entertainment events – including music festivals.
We take the implications of the possible transference of the Covid-19 virus at public gatherings very seriously, and are keeping a close eye on the fluid day-to-day policies and procedures developed by government and other agencies in order to control its spread.
However – we remain hopeful that “this too shall pass” and that as we begin to get closer to the Desert Daze Festival dates (August 7th and 8th) the situation will be under control and life will have begun to return to “normal” – whatever that may mean …
Therefore for the time being all things are “business as (un)usual” here at the Desert Daze Music Festival.
Yet we will be keeping a close eye on how this crisis unfolds in the next weeks and months and – if need be – we will make the right decisions to ensure the safety of all of our musicians, artists and artisans, vendors and merchants, volunteers and of course our loyal patrons.
Meanwhile – please be diligent! Do not take any chances with your health and that of your family and friends. We want to see you at our next wonderful festival!
Sincerely;
The Desert Daze Music Festival
Organizing Committee

Good for you. Wishing for a world speedy recovery for sure.
Was asking someone about the festival and they indicated it is mostly country music. Is this the case?
thanks
Hello Shay – thank you for your comment. Yes – we all wish for this chaos to settle. We know that it will – and pray that there are minimal casualties when it finally does pass. As for the music of Desert Daze – we pride ourselves in presenting a great variety of genres that will please most all tastes (well – if you are fan of opera or jazz you may be disappointed). We present all types and styles including (yes) country music, but also classic rock and blues and folk and pop and roots and world music and beyond. We also do our best to feature local home-grown artists – and you would be amazed at how many truly talented musicians and artists are to be found within a hundred km or so of our home base of Spences Bridge! Hope to see you there in August!
